Clover Leaf Solutions is searching for a skilled Electrical Engineer to provide essential technical knowledge and perform engineering work in the development and implementation of Emergency Communications Systems and audio engineering designs. This role will involve working under the guidance of the Discipline Lead Engineer or Area Lead Engineer to analyze and recommend technical solutions, ensuring the successful execution of complex engineering projects.
Responsibilities:
Provide technical direction for the development and implementation of Emergency Communications System designs, including 2D Riser Diagrams and field speaker designs. Manage system design for field speaker circuiting, sequencing, and numbering, and support database management for cabinets, panels, and field devices. Coordinate complex distribution program projects, integrating schedules, tracking permit statuses, and addressing technical issues. Perform clash detection for Emergency Communications System components in 3D models using Navisworks, resolving design comments. Utilize Enhanced Acoustic Simulator for Engineers (EASE) software to perform speech transmission index (STI) calculations and generate reports such as STI distribution and heat maps. Develop and maintain integrated schedules, work breakdown structures (WBS), and perform variance analysis to monitor project performance. Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and clients to resolve technical problems and ensure compliance with project requirements.Requirements:
Education: Bachelor of Science degree in Audio Engineering, Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field. An Associate Degree in CAD or Engineering Technology is acceptable. Minimum Qualifications: U.S. Citizen. Minimum 10 years of practical, relevant engineering experience. Experience with CAD software (2D/3D MicroStation, AutoCAD, or Revit). Significant experience using Enhanced Acoustic Simulator for Engineers (EASE) software for audio STI analysis. Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards for engineering design. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Primavera P6, or similar project management tools. Strong communication skills to interact with project management, clients, vendors, and subcontractors. Ability to perform tasks effectively in a time-conscious manner within a diverse environment. Successful pre-employment screening results (background check and drug screening). Desired Qualifications: Professional Engineer license. Experience with nuclear facilities and ASME NQA-1 standards. EPC project experience for U.S. Department of Energy or other federal agencies. Knowledge of electrical design requirements such as grounding, lighting, motors, and hazardous locations.
