Summary: Seeking an Electrical/Automation Engineer to support and improve equipment safety, quality, reliability, efficiencies, and cost in day-to-day plant operations.

Job Requirements:

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field

3+ years of relevant experience in an industrial environment

Experience with controls and automation for major equipment upgrades (capex projects)

Proficiency in PLC programming and hardware; VFD, motors, breakers & switchgear

Hands-on troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Preferred Skills:

Experience in the metals industry (aluminum, steel mills)

Knowledge of equipment maintenance and reliability

Job Responsibilities:

Provide support for maintaining and improving equipment safety, quality, reliability, efficiencies, and cost

Recommend, plan, and implement equipment upgrades

Work with heavy industrial equipment, automation, controls, and utilities

Conduct troubleshooting and root cause analysis

Utilize software applications including Microsoft Office and AutoCAD

Pay Details: $95,000.00 to $115,000.00 per year
