Our client, a large manufacturing company in Obetz, OH, is seeking an Electrical Harness Assembler for a contract-to-hire opportunity. In this role, you will be responsible for the assembly, routing, and organization of electrical harnesses and components, focusing on systems used in mobile medical units.

Job Responsibilities:

Assemble, route, and organize wire harnesses, junction boxes, and relays for mobile medical and dental units.Work with various 12V systems, including those for hydraulics and diesel heaters.Prepare and organize units for telecommunications setups, including Cat6 and other wiring systems.Follow detailed specifications for wire routing, harness building, and component placement.Utilize hand-powered tools to perform precise assembly tasks and ensure quality control.

Job Qualifications & Skills:

Basic understanding of electrical components and systems, especially AC/DC power.Familiarity with assembling telecommunications systems, particularly Cat6 cables.Experience with hand tools, air-powered tools, and measurement tools (e.g., tape measures).Ability to troubleshoot assembly issues and adjust components to meet specifications.1-2 years of experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or similar tasks.Experience with 12V systems and components, such as alarms, hydraulics, and diesel heaters.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.Comfort working in varied positions, including standing, kneeling, and crouching.
