This position reports to

Production Supervisor

Your role and responsibilities

Creates and maintains a detailed production schedule from the production plan.Creates & Releases manufacturing work orders.Executes daily, plant-level Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) to create and manage production requirements to meet the production delivery schedules.Establishes sequence and lead time of each operation to meet shipment dates per the master schedule/plan obtained from the Production Planners.Monitors schedule adherence, identifies key root causes for deviation, and takes follow-up improvement action.Feeds information on production capacity issues and material availability to Production Planners.Responsible for creating and maintaining Sheet Metal and Copper planning (manufacturing instructions, NC code, tooling documentation) Provide quick response to all fabrication systems & planning issues to support customer requirements.Support prototype, NPI, and project-based initiatives Support make / buy decisions and design for manufacturability initiativesMaintain parts and tool library within fabrication softwareReview revision changes / CNs, WAs, and ECNsParticipates in and/or run weekly meetings.Support daily operations in fabricationAct as subject matter expert of fabrication software. Maintain integrity, performance, and uptime of software and related systems. Partner with IS, suppliers and other teams as needed.Responsible for management and execution of fabrication planning expeditesWork closely with fabrication operations and planning teams.Maintain SAP data integrity and work to enhance scheduling and capacity planning toolsResponsible for training in the Planning departmentOther duties as assigned

Qualifications for the role

High school diploma or equivalent required.Minimum 5 years working in a manufacturing environmentMinimum of 5 years year of fabrication experience (sheet metal equipment and/or processes)At least 3 years of Fabrication Planning experienceMust be familiar and have practical experience with SAP and other applicable softwareProficiency in Microsoft Office applications Excellent blueprint skills and working with 3D modelsProficiency in TruTops software (Oseon/Boost/Classic)Proficiency in Ehrt softwareBudget & Performance ManagementMust be self-motivated with a high level of engagement.Adept problem-solving skills.Ability to collaborate with multiple departments and work teams.Self-motivated / Problem Solver – Provides input at Tier 2 meetings and production meetingsCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US
