Under appropriate levels of supervision, as required by regulatory agencies, operates Hospital information systems for data entry and retrieval. Performs electrocardiograms (EKGs) and other cardiology related testing.

LEVEL OF EDUCATION 

Minimum: Na 

Preferred: A.A. Degree from a 2-year college, or equivalent. Basic and advanced arrhytmia training. 

CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

Minimum: Valid American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS) 

Preferred: National EKG certification 

TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS 

Minimum: Computer keyboard skills 

Preferred: Ability to scan and interpret holter monitor recordings. 

YEARS OF RELATED WORK EXPERIENCE 

Preferred: EKG experience or comparable training and experience that provide skills to perform the job tasks competently
