Your Opportunity 

An opportunity exists for a highly organized and eager Summer Student to join our Water Team. As a member of our electrical, instrumentation and controls team, you will work in a team environment and have exposure to planning, design, and construction of systems for water infrastructure projects which may include water and wastewater plants, pump stations, water supply, distribution, sanitary collection and lift stations, etc. Candidates should be highly motivated and dependable students who are taking or have taken electrical engineering courses. This is a terrific opportunity for a college or university student to support a number of exciting local and national projects.

Your Key Responsibilities  Attend and prepare meeting minutes. Coordinating project communications between Project Managers and design staff.  Support the preparation of documentation such as memorandums, reports, proposals, and other communications with a focus on plain language and proper grammar. Support the team in filing and preparation of work and work product. Your Capabilities and Credentials Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Ability to prioritize and take direction from the team. Education and Experience In progress toward earning a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in electrical engineering, communications, or related field. 

Typical office environment working with computers and working at a desk for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.  Holding a valid driver’s license is required.
