EHS Manager
Job Title: EHS Manager
Job Description

In this role, you will develop, plan, implement, maintain, and monitor an EHS management system for the organization that meets the company Safety Assessment for Effectiveness (SAFE) requirements. As an EHS Manager, you will ensure company safety initiatives are deployed for the organization, including behavior-based safety (BBS), ergonomics programs, risk assessment, EHS training, machine guarding, and employee engagement.

ResponsibilitiesAssess, evaluate, quantify, and prioritize EHS risks.Create and deliver training programs.Develop EHS metrics.Participate in risk assessments.Oversee and manage the handling and storage of hazardous chemicals as well as implement safety measures.Monitor air and water quality.Conduct regular audits and inspections.Essential SkillsMinimum 5+ years of EHS experience in a manufacturing environment.Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.Familiarity with local EHS laws, regulations, and standards, especially those related to hazardous materials and plating chemicals.Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other relevant regulations.Experience in a technical, engineering, or manufacturing role with specific exposure to chemical handling and plating processes.Demonstrated ability in conducting audits and inspections of all aspects of EHS throughout a worksite and/or manufacturing plant.ISO14001 knowledge.Additional Skills & Qualifications2+ years plating operations experience.Ability to establish and manage EHS program implementation.Work Environment

Onsite with flexible hours as long as they are during core hours. Occasional travel to the TE site for input gathering.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $90000.00/yr.
