MAU is hiring a Senior Environmental Engineer for Yamaha in Newnan, GA. As a Senior Environmental Engineer, you will design, implement, and oversee projects that minimize environmental impact and promote sustainability. This is a direct-hire opportunity.

Experience with ISO 14001 (EMS), Title V Permit, SARA, RCRA large quantity generator, and industrial wastewater permitting. Preferred Education and Experience Paint process knowledge and paint air permitting experience. Knowledge of Articulate 360 Training Software. General Requirements Ability to lead teams and manage multiple projects. Strong math, chemistry, and analytical skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Outlook, and Teams. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Essential Functions Conduct environmental assessments to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies. Develop and implement pollution control strategies and waste management systems. Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal environmental regulations. Oversee environmental projects from conception to completion, ensuring they meet all regulatory and safety standards. Collect and analyze environmental data to prepare detailed reports for stakeholders. Engage with community groups and stakeholders to address environmental concerns and promote sustainability initiatives. Provide technical support and guidance on environmental issues to other departments. Stay updated on the latest environmental technologies and practices. Develop, organize, administer, and maintain YMMC Environmental Programs and Environmental Management System (ISO 14001). Serve as an interface, reporting, and permitting contact for governmental and third-party agencies. Compile and complete required environmental reports for agency submission. Lead environmental teams and serve as ISO 14001 Lead Auditor. Create and conduct environmental program training for employees. Identify areas for reducing environmental impacts, research alternatives, and implement improvement projects. Evaluate new environmental regulations for applicability. Create and maintain emergency response plans and lead emergency response teams. Maintain environmental permits, including Title V, Stormwater, and Industrial Pretreatment. Review new or modified processes for environmental impact, regulatory, and permit requirements. Track required environmental information, communicate results, and analyze data for improvement activities. Lead employee teams on environmental improvement projects.
