More about the Role, and Responsibilities:

Manage large-scale construction projects by initiating and attending meetings, performing site walks, and ensuring contract requirements are in placeEducate various stakeholder groups on EHS requirements and best practicesCollect data, create timely reports, and communicate trends from field inspections to stakeholder groups.Observe work practices onsite and strive to create solutions that optimize employee health and wellness at all timesCoach personnel on OSHA requirements and client-specific expectationsPrepare slide decks and deliver training to the client and other EHS professionalsLead meetings as the representative from EHSBuild programs in collaboration with the greater EHS team Lead incident investigations to drive future improvement, safe conditions and work practicesPossess a willingness to continuously learn about new and established processes – be enthusiastic!Have ability to both lead and take direction – ask questions!Be a self-starter and show initiativePossess computer/technical skills (Google Suite, Microsoft Programs, corrective action software)Individuals with mechanical aptitude are strongly encouraged to apply
 

Education/Qualifications:

Minimum educational requirements: Bachelor’s degree is preferred but can be excused with demonstrated experience5-7 years' experience in EHS is preferredDegree in Environmental, Health, Safety, Biology, Chemistry or Engineering is appreciated but not requiredPublic speaking skills are strongly desiredHave a desire to grow within the EHS fieldCSP, CHST, STS-C is highly preferred, but not required.Being well versed with Microsoft Office Suite programs is requiredExperience as a Construction EHS Owner Representative is appreciated; Construction EHS experience is strongly desired.

The salary for this position can range from $95,200 - $130,900 annually; actual compensation is based on various factors, including but not limited to, the candidate's competencies, level of experience, education, location, divisional budget and internal peer compensation comparisons
