The EHR (Electronic Health Record) Financial Systems Analyst provides support in managing and optimizing financial modules within the EHR (Electronic Health Record) systems used by LCS managed or owned senior living communities. This role focuses on system maintenance, troubleshooting, and assisting with financial reporting to ensure efficient and compliant operations.

The Role:
System Support and Maintenance:
Assist in the configuration and maintenance of financial modules within the EHR system, such as billing and accounts receivable. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to financial workflows, escalating complex issues to senior team members. Perform routine system checks and updates to maintain operational efficiency.User Support:
Provide first and second level support to end users for financial system-related inquiries. Document and escalate complex issues to senior analysts or technical teams as needed. Assist in onboarding new users and ensuring they have appropriate access to financial systems.Reporting and Data Analysis:
Generate financial reports and assist in analyzing data to support decision-making. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of data within the EHR system. Collaborate with the finance team to reconcile discrepancies in financial reports.Training and Documentation:
Assist in creating and updating training materials and system documentation. Provide support during training sessions for end users on financial modules.Project Assistance:
Support senior analysts with EHR upgrades, financial system implementations, and other projects. Help with gathering requirements, testing system updates, and documenting project outcomes.
Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience) preferred. Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in finance, accounting, or IT support, or related field, preferably in healthcare or senior living. Familiarity with EHR systems such as PointClickCare or MatrixCare preferred.
Knowledge & Skills:
Basic understanding of financial processes, including billing and accounts receivable. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and an eagerness to learn reporting tools (e.g., SQL, BI tools). Strong problem-solving and organizational skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to work with diverse teams. Interest in learning about senior living operations and regulatory requirements. Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of EHR systems or financial software is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn system configuration and administration.
