**EEG Tech PRN**
As an EEG Tech, at Northwest Medical Oro Valley, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best- providing quality care to our patients. **Requirements:**
+ **Option 1:** Associates degree in Respiratory Therapy from an accredited school of respiratory therapy.
+ **Option 2:** Graduation from an accredited electroneurodiagnostic technology program (accredited by the committee on Allied Health Education and Accreditation or equivalent) or 10 years experience EEG experience."
+ Five (5) years of Electroneurodiagnostic (EEG) experience, including experience in a critical care capacity
+ Ability to read, communicate, and document effectively through oral, written, or electronic means; excellent customer service skills; ability to prioritize and respond promptly to a changing workload.
+ Proficiency in all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook).
+ Ability to answer telephones, maintain filing systems, schedule appointments, process reports, input data into computer programs, coordinate events, and facilitate teams and meetings.
+ **Option 1:** Current Arizona license to practice respiratory care and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification; American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) ACLS & BLS certification.
+ **Option 2:** Registered EEG Electroneurodiagnostic Technologist (ABRET); American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross(ARC) or American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) BLS certification. "
**About the Job:**
+ Responsible for the management of day to day EEG operations and activities.
+ Accountable for policies and procedures, and all associated administrative duties.
+ Performs sleep, critically ill bedside, electro cerebral silence recordings, and intraoperative EEG monitoring (carotid endarterectomies).
+ Full comprehension of all EEG services provided.
