Job Summary
Reporting to the Director of Cardio/Pulmonary/Neurology/Sleep Disorders, performs a variety of electroencephalographic (EEG) and neurological testing procedures on in-patients and outpatients.

Minimum Qualifications
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Graduate of a two year program in EEG and/or Evoked Potential Testing recognized by the American Board of Registration of Electroencephalographic and Evoked Potential Technologists (ABRET) preferred.
The Hospital will provide competency-based on-the-job training if cleared by Medical Director, in lieu of a two year program. The duration of training and proficiency will be determined by the Administrative Director and Medical Director.

Experience
1 year of previous patient care/healthcare experience required.
Three to five years EEG lab experience preferred.

Licensure and/or Certification
BLS healthcare provider required.
R. EEG T., R. EP T., and/or CNIM preferred.

Skills
Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to make patients comfortable with testing.
Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
Computer skills required.
Ability to maintain confidential information
