Job Description:

As an EE Tech Intern, you would work with regular direction and guidance from a Sr. Technician. The primary duty is to utilize entry level electrical skills to contribute to the design, development and qualification of new products and support of existing products within the department.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform testing for qualifying new power tools, lithium-ion batteries, and chargers.Follow defined test procedures and complete tasks with proper techniques and protocols.Gather test data while utilizing appropriate test equipment (DAQs, multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, etc.).Assist with building test setups, fixtures, prototypes, etc.Assist in debugging electronic circuits.

Education and Experience Requirements

Student must be working toward an associate’s degree with an emphasis in the electrical field (Mechatronics, IET, GET, EST, EET, etc.).Must have a good working knowledge of basic electrical theory and is capable of quickly researching new information as needed for specific projects.Must be able to communicate technical status to management and project teams.
