About the Opportunity

For more than 30 years, Uniting Preschool Adamstown Heights has been a much-loved part of our local community, teaching young children the crucial skill of learning that will ease their transition to ‘big school’, and far beyond. 

Operating during school terms our preschool has a strong focus on sustainable practices and on building positive relationships. The team work closely with children, families and the community to give all children the opportunity to develop to their full potential.

What you’ll be doing in this role

As a Certificate III Educator, you’ll provide quality education and care to children to help support and facilitate their learning outcomes in accordance with the National Quality Standards and learning framework! 

Your work may include:

Developing positive relationships that support children, their families and community. Facilitating play-based learning environments that are responsive to children’s interest, strengths, and abilities.

 

Who we’re looking for

Must have completed a Diploma in Early Childhood Education, with previous on the job experience (preferred) Be passionate about working with children of all ages. A work history that demonstrates, programming, writing learning stories and supporting the planning of a successful curriculum using the Early Years Learning Framework (National Standard) Have the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, families and community members
