Educational Specialist - TIPS Education Center
Designs, delivers and evaluates training effectiveness and educational programs for a variety of technical and behavioral tasks and concepts.

JOB SPECIFIC COMPETENCIES

· Content Creation: Develop, design, and produce multimedia content, including videos, animations, graphics, and audio, for a variety of healthcare-focused projects.

· Storytelling: Collaborate with healthcare professionals to conceptualize and craft compelling narratives for educational modules, patient education, and promotional campaigns.

· Video Production: Handle all aspects of video production, including scripting, filming, editing, post-production, and publishing.

· Graphic Design: Create visually appealing graphics and animations to complement multimedia projects and enhance educational materials.

· Conference and Webinar Support: Provide media production services for live and virtual events, including conferences, webinars, and workshops. This includes managing live streaming, recording sessions, and creating promotional or recap materials.

· Project Management: Coordinate media projects from inception to completion, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.

· Technical Expertise: Operate and maintain media equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and editing software, ensuring optimal quality and performance.

· Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including educators, clinicians, and communication specialists, to align media outputs with organizational goals.

· Compliance: Ensure all media content complies with organizational standards, HIPAA regulations, and branding guidelines.

· Innovation: Stay updated on emerging media trends, tools, and techniques to continually enhance the quality and effectiveness of productions.

· Applies appropriate learning methodology to plan, develop and evaluate educational products for continuing professional education learning events, courses, curricula and special projects.

· Designs and develops relevant, effective and engaging educational media products using principles of UX design and adult learning theory.

· Creates original educational media in support of approved CPE and TIPS projects. This includes, but is not limited to graphics, animations, simulations, audio, video, and other digital assets.

· Leads review sessions for educational products, facilitating discussion and translating feedback into actionable design/development tasks.

· Maintains expertise on advances in professional education, including standards, industry trends, emerging technologies (AR/VR/XR), software tools, digital platforms and education systems.

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications Required:
Bachelor's Degree Business, Education, Psychology, Training & Development, Instructional Design or related field. Required Master's Degree Health Administration, Education or related field. Preferred 3 years Experience in related field in a business or healthcare environment. Required May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis. Experience in designing curricula in a healthcare environment and training all levels of employees and management. Preferred
Preferred
Education: Bachelor's degree in Media Production, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field

Preferred
Experience- Expertise with Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with motion graphics/animation software (e.g., AfterEffects). Experience creating AR/VR/XR simulations for education.

Experience with 2D/3D animation and motion graphics.

Knowledge of eLearning platforms and instructional design principles.
