Job Description

The EDR Assembler is responsible for the assembly of Electrodialysis Reversal (EDR) stacks,
ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards. This role involves working
closely with engineering and supervisory teams to maintain quality and efficiency in a fast-paced
manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:

 Assemble EDR stacks by stacking membranes and spacers.Perform minor piping (assembly and gluing) and secure fasteners as required.Utilize repetitive production experience to enhance efficiency (an asset).Lift up to 25 lbs and work on your feet for an 8-hour shift.Follow production priorities based on backlog to meet the production schedule.Report any issues with materials, drawings, Bill of Materials (BoM), and equipment.Read and understand drawings and BoM to ensure the correct materials are used.Take pride in the quality of finished goods and raise concerns when quality cannot be maintained.Collaborate with engineering and supervisory teams to maintain quality and a safe work environment.Demonstrate mechanical proficiency and a good working knowledge of hand tools (e.g.,  drivers, wrenches, pliers, drills).Possess 3 or more years of related experience in manufacturing, plumbing, or construction building.Work effectively on a production line (spacer line).Follow work instructions and operate test stations with various stack types.Troubleshoot failed stacks and perform rebuilds.Conduct membrane leak testing and spacer inspections.Operate Glycol preservation station on completed stacks.

Additional Expectations:
Employees are expected to monitor and stay current with all assigned training as well as
participate in safety meetings and audits. 40 hour work weeks with occasional overtime. Chosen
candidates will receive crane training as part of their role.
