Position Overview:ADDitude magazine, a leading digital and print publisher of service journalism in mental health topics, seeks an organized, deadline-driven, self-propelled specialist to lead its editorial team’s webinar and video programs. We are seeking detail-oriented, highly organized, independent, and reliable editorial specialist who will produce weekly cross-platform webinars, produce compelling video content that helps drive new users to ADDitudeMag.com, devise and execute impactful social media strategies, and contribute authoritative, well-written content to ADDitudeMag.com. The Editorial Specialist owns ADDitude’s weekly ADHD Experts webinar series — managing all aspects of webinar planning and production of scheduled webinars, plus communication and coordination with expert presenters. Additional responsibilities include identifying, creating, and collaborating with internal teams on video assets; devising and executing social media tactics using video to drive new users and visits; collaborating with editorial and video-production teams on video assets where necessary; producing articles and other content in WordPress; writing digital content, particularly quick-turn articles based on live webinars; and completing SEO projects. Qualifications:project-management experience and strong adherence to deadlinesprevious experience with webinars, podcasts, and/or video contentexperience with video-editing tools and social media utilizing videounwavering attention to detailimpeccable writing and editing skills (ideally a journalism-school graduate)SEO training and experiencethe ability to juggle multiple ongoing deadlinesexcellent interpersonal skillsexperience with WordPress, Facebook Business Suite, Hootsuite, Adobe (Analytics, Photoshop, Audition, and Premiere), Microsoft (Powerpoint, Word, and Excel), and ahrefs is also a plus Responsibilities:Webinar:-Create new webinars in WordPress, Aspen, and GoTo, and augment registration pages with related resources-Coordinate with advertising team on sponsor messaging and logos-Communicate with internal and external teams on webinar production schedule, including deadlines and promotions-Edit and traffic webinar agreements, presentation materials, and practice session logistics-Organize and synthesize webinar registration questions and comments to aid speaker and moderator preparation-Edit PowerPoint presentations-Execute post-production — creating a YouTube version of the webinar, gathering webinar analytics, enabling a replay page in WordPress, creating directory listings for experts-Respond to customer inquiries-Identify webinar video clips for use on social media, and work with video editing team to produce that content- Lead all aspects of ADDitude’s video-based social media presence with an eye toward younger audience growth

 

Editorial:-Write quick-turn articles reporting on webinars- Write other user-generated content pieces as needed

 

Social:-Craft and schedule social posts to promote ADDitude webinars -Post video daily to social channels and coordinate internally with ADDitude editors as needed to generate video content based on webinars, new content, seasonal content, tentpoles, etc. -Report on social metrics regarding webinars and video-Monitor comments and other engagement activity

 

SEO:-Perform keyword research and write strategic meta titles and descriptions for each new webinar page-Perform keyword research for all content produced-Study keyword data to inform video choices and strategies-Update internal links in high-ranking articles with new content-Perform SEO reviews and updates on articles shared in newsletters and social channels

 

Production:-Produce new articles in WordPress according to highest SEO and readability standards
