Complete Description:
This individual will work in conjunction with staff from the Bureau of Information and Analysis Services and the Bureau of Nutrition and Health Services on a federal grant. The goal of the grant is to increase the percentage of students in Iowa that are identified as needing food assistance.
The SLF is a component of the School Inter-operability Framework (SIF) which allows for a standardized and automated mechanism to move education information across the technology enterprise. This individual will complete two distinct sets of tasks for the IDE. First, this individual will work with IDE staff and school district personnel to configure the SLF system. Second, this person will be responsible for reviewing and cleaning any data anomalies that exist as part of this new system.
This individual will need to work collaboratively in a team setting with IDE staff. This position requires technical skills and experience working in EDI environments. Furthermore, a skill set of working hands on with data and experience in data cleansing will be needed. This individual will need to be a fast learner and learn SIF technology and technical details required to implement this system.
Past experience in providing high quality of customer service is desirable. This position will need to work with an external vendor to trouble shoot connectivity problems
