Economics (Actuarial or Business Analytics) Advisor - Evernorth Accountable Care - Hybrid

**Position Overview:**
As an Evernorth Accountable Care (ENAC) Economics Advisor, you will perform analytics that advance value-based care models with both provider groups and payer clients (including Cigna Healthcare) to ultimately drive greater economic value and improved quality outcomes for patients, providers and employer clients. You will be responsible for driving the financial performance for 2-3 Risk Bearing Entities (RBEs). You will develop reporting to optimize the value created within each local market and will support the development of new models for capturing value within the Enterprise. You will actively partner with Network Contracting, Finance, Strategy, IT, Data and Analytics, and provider partners to advance the financial performance of our business. The ideal candidate is adept at operating across the organization to create solutions, is energized by a “start from scratch” opportunity, is curious, is an analytical and strategic thinker, is comfortable shaping structure from ambiguity, is able to inspire and mobilize others, and is passionate about creating innovative solutions that expand access to high quality care and improve affordability.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Execute fast paced and in-depth analytics. Synthesize complex data into actionable insights. Iterate and support ongoing business needs with quality analytics.
+ Identify opportunities to maximize the financial performance of the RBEs. Set appropriate KPIs, including rate targets, value-based contract parameters, referral targets, and utilization targets. Project impacts of execution against targets.
+ Develop, maintain, and refine a suite of Power BI and Tableau dashboards that allows the team to identify high-value opportunities and create operational strategies that improve the financial performance of each RBE.
+ Own all data and analytics to support the relationship with primary care partners in 2-3 new markets.
+ Partner with local care coordinators to maximize population health. Synthesize and communicate opportunities and outcomes in meaningful and comprehensible way.
+ Develop a deep understanding of local market nuances, including provider and facility dynamics, competitive landscape of payers, and competitive landscape of value-based care (VBC) in the market.
+ Identify providers for inclusion in the local specialist/ancillary network.
+ Support Network Contracting in establishing value-based contracts and identifying opportunities to accelerate contracted providers along the value-based continuum.
+ Provide support to the Finance and Strategy teams in creating financial forecasts.
+ Identify opportunities to create new VBC relationships or expand existing VBC relationships. Support expansion efforts with analytics and strategic insights.
**Qualifications:**
_This position requires strong healthcare specific data and analytics skills, healthcare and insurance content knowledge, communication skills, technical skills across platforms, and project management._
+ 4+ years of hands on experience in healthcare specific analytics, finance, and/or actuarial/underwriting
+ Bachelors degree required
+ Masters in Business Administration or equivalent advanced degree OR pursuit of/achievement of Associateship or Fellowship of the Society of Actuaries is strongly preferred
+ Advanced expert in Excel
+ Working knowledge in querying language and tools including (but not limited to) R Studio, SAS, SQL, Teradata, Databricks, and Hadoop
+ Experienced in data visualization/platform through Tableau, Power BI, R, Python, and/or VBA
+ Commercial health plan experience strongly preferred; additional Medicare Advantage experience is a plus
+ Ability to navigate and contribute within a highly-matrixed environment
+ Go-getter who enjoys problem solving and creating innovative solutions
+ Thrives in a dynamic, rapidly changing, and ambiguous environment

For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 109,400 - 182,300 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
