EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION: Every 30 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as one year of experience towards the six years of full-time work experience in any field. The maximum substitution allowed is 120 semester hours which substitutes for a maximum of four years of experience in any field. Examples of Work PROGRAM MANAGER FUNCTION Oversees the development of policies, procedures, Economic Stability manuals, and Federally-required state plans. Evaluates and comments on federal regulations by determining their impact upon present program functions and responding in writing. Participates in audits of assigned Economic Stablility programs by State and Federal agencies. Identifies systems needs to support program policies. Participates in the drafting of legislation related to Economic Stability programs. Represents the Director, in his/her absence or as directed, at meetings, conferences, etc. as necessary. Assists in budget preparation. OPERATIONS MANAGER FUNCTION Plans, directs and ensures proper implementation of all Economic Stability programs within the assigned geographic area. Develops and implements corrective action plans to ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures and professional practices and standards. Identifies client needs and engages with DCFS regional community specialists, community agencies and groups to develop resources that are community based and meet the needs of the children and families served by Economic Stability programs.
