Description and Requirements

The UX Information Architect will be responsible for designing the structure and organization of information on lenovo.com to optimize the user experience. This role involves understanding user needs, business goals and content requirements to create a logical and intuitive information architecture.

Key Responsibilities:

Information Architecture Design: Develop information architecture frameworks, including site maps, navigation systems and taxonomy structures to ensure content findability and usability. User Research: Partner with user research, including user interviews, surveys, and usability testing, to understand user behaviors, preferences and information needs. Content Strategy: Collaborate with content creators and stakeholders to develop content strategies that align with user needs and business objectives. User Flows: Create user flows and interaction diagrams to visualize the user journey and identify opportunities for improving information organization and user experience. Accessibility and Usability: Ensure that information architectures meet accessibility standards and usability best practices to accommodate users with diverse needs and preferences. Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams including product and marketing BUs, content creators, product managers, designers and developers to ensure business needs and user needs are met and to integrate information architecture considerations into overall eCommerce processes. Documentation: Document information architecture decisions, rationale and guidelines to facilitate collaboration and maintain consistency across projects. Continuous Improvement: Monitor user feedback, analytics data and industry trends to identify opportunities for optimizing information architectures and enhancing the overall user experience.

Position Qualifications:

Basic: 

Bachelor's Degree in Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), Information Science, User Experience, Design, or related field12+ years of experience in UX/ eCommerce


Preferred:

Master's degree
Proven experience in information architecture design, preferably in a UX/UI design roleProficiency in UX design tools such as Figma Strong understanding of user-centered design principles and methodologies Excellent communication and collaboration skills Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment Knowledge of web accessibility standards (WCAG) and usability testing methodologies is a plus
The base salary range budgeted for this position is $145,000- $180,000. Individuals may also be considered for bonuses and/or commissions. Lenovo’s various benefits can be found at www.lenovobenefits.com.
