What You’ll Do

As a Returns Specialist you will be responsible for managing the returns process for products purchased online. You will ensure returns are processed quickly and in accordance with our policies, while providing top-notch customer service to ensure a positive experience for our customers.

Streamline and oversee all aspects of the customer returns process, including managing return requests, issuing authorizations, and processing return shipments, while fostering collaboration and driving continuous improvement.Design, build, and implement a new online return process utilizing industry best practices.Administer and continuously improve the process to provide timely updates to customers regarding the status of their return and any associated refunds or replacements.Ensure that all returned products adhere to the company's return policies, including timelines and conditions for acceptable returns.Overseeing the refunds process, exchanges, or store credits based on company policy and customer preferencesOwn the development and refinement of  return procedures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop the future online return experience. Ensure proper process is in place to partner with the DC teams to verify returned items and assess for resale, refurbishing, or disposal.Communicate any recurring issues with returns to the appropriate teams to improve product quality or customer satisfaction.Collaborate with customer service and other departments to identify trends or issues in the returns process and recommend improvements.Stay abreast of market trends regarding online returns and beyond. Provide friendly, proactive, and professional internal and external support to others, assisting with inquiries, concerns, and issues promptly and effectively.Actively participate in learning initiatives offered such as training programs, workshops, and webinars. Essential Qualities for SuccessAt least 3 years of eCommerce experience or equivalent combination of experience and education.Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software, with a working knowledge of its applications.Skilled in or able to quickly learn order management and ERP systems.Exceptional verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.Outstanding customer service skills with a focus on building positive relationships.Proven ability to meticulously analyze and review information, ensuring accuracy by identifying and correcting errors or inconsistencies.Competent in adhering to established processes and identifying/addressing deviations as needed.Strong organizational skills, capable of prioritizing tasks based on urgency and importance while adapting schedules as circumstances change.Resilient and adaptable, maintaining a positive outlook when facing challenges or setbacks.Solution-oriented, approaching problems with creativity and practicality to achieve effective outcomes.Growth-oriented mindset, committed to personal and professional development through hard work, dedication, and continuous learning.Willing to take calculated risks and accept accountability for decisions and their results.Advanced problem-solving skills, enabling the rapid identification and resolution of issues to prevent delays or disruptions.Physical Requirements  Ability to maintain a seated or standing position for extended durations.Capability to lift 15 pounds periodically.Able to navigate and access all facilities.Skill to effectively communicate verbally with others, both in-person and via electronic devices.Close vision for computer-related tasks.

The pay range for this position is $47,000 - $62,160 annualized and is bonus eligible. Exact compensation is determined by factors such as relevant geographic location, education, certifications, experience, job level, shift, and organizational needs.
