Kishigo is currently seeking a Sales Manager for the East Coast Region. The East Coast Sales Manager will be directly responsible for the independent sales agents in the assigned territory. This position will assist with new business targets, work directly with house accounts and focus on organic sales growth in existing accounts. The Sales Manager will build sales agent and customer relationships, handle customer issues, inquiries and communicate effectively with all appropriate internal departments.
**_This position will have a Sales territory in East Coast Region._**

**_Responsibilities:_**
+ Mentor independent sales agents to gain a disproportionate amount of mind share and grow the business in each of their territories
+ Aggressively increase sales through greater penetration within existing accounts and industries, while also prospecting and building business with new accounts
+ Position requires 70% of the time engaging the end user market and the remaining time spent with distribution activities
+ Answer questions regarding products and their applications, credit terms, delivery information and convert calls to sales from catalog
+ Present new items, identify and close sales to existing customers
+ Demonstrate outstanding customer service to build relationships and ensure customer satisfaction
+ Implement and manage pricing strategies within all accounts
+ Participate in affiliated associations to establish network among industry peers
+ Work with inside sales team to prospect and follow up with opportunities in the market
+ Attend sales meetings and meet with Sales Director on a regular basis
+ Communicate and cooperate in productive manner with all departments
+ Utilize CRM to track sales, leads, potentials, customer contacts, etc.
+ Join and attend meetings with local trade associations
**_Requirements:_**
+ High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree in Professional Selling, Marketing or Business a plus
+ 3 to 5 years of previous selling experience in the safety industry preferred
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Travel 65% of the time
+ Outstanding customer service skills and the ability to work in a team setting with a diverse group of employees, managers and external contacts
+ Outstanding analytical, organization and communication skills
