CAE, the worldwide leader in aviation training, is looking for an EASA Flight Instructor Trainer to join our Phoenix Aviation Academy in Mesa, AZ.
The EASA Flight Instructor Trainer is responsible for delivering high quality flight, simulator and ground instruction to EASA applicants or EASA instructors seeking additional ratings/qualifications in compliance with the CAE Global Academy Training and Safety standards and applicable aviation authority regulations. The EASA Flight Instructor Trainer is responsible for coaching, checking and mentoring a group of Flight Instructors and providing feedback and input for the performance management process to the responsible manager. The EASA Flight Instructor Trainer puts a strong focus on professional behavior and attitude besides strong theoretical and practical knowledge of flying.
The ideal candidate would hold an FAA Commercial Certificate with an EASA FCL900c FI(A) or an EASA/UKCAA CPL and FI(A) Rating. Specifically, to hold the privilege of FCL905(j) to instruct for Instructor Qualifications will be essential – Strong candidates without FCL905(J) may be considered to add the privilege.
The role will be to qualify existing FAA Commercial Flight Instructors to gain EASA and UK Flight instructor ratings. Through the delivery of Standardized Preflight briefings, Structured Air Exercises and Constructive debriefs.
