Graduate Program Overview 

The CRB Graduate Development Program (GDP) is a non-rotational two-year-program that provides the opportunity to develop a broad knowledge base, varied skills, and diverse network. This program is designed to set you up with a holistic view of CRB with hands-on experience, insight, and opportunities to make an impact and shape your own career.  

GDP participants will be immersed in a 1-week-in-person orientation followed by a robust onboarding training learning about various functions within CRB. Our program is designed to provide graduates with a well-rounded understanding of the industry while having the opportunity to deep dive within their respective business area. 

GSS Placement Overview 

Global Solutions & Services (GSS) is an international group that wears many hats. The primary focus is Service and Broking, but Consulting is also a key offering in advising our Global Clients across all lines of business, not just International Casualty. The “ABCs” of GSS start with Strategic Advisory on all things global impacting a client’s risk programs regardless of line of coverage; broking of the International Casualty and/or International Package programs; and then coordinating and managing our global network to implement the global programs and service the subsidiaries of our global clients around the globe. The GSS team handles and manages WTW’s network (foreign offices) and acts as the Liaison for all International issues. A role in GSS is suited to individuals who look forward to working in a client facing role, negotiating with insurance companies and are eager to work on several different projects at the same time.

Responsibilities: 

Develop a deep understanding of the clients’ business, strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs.  Advise clients on global risk strategy, optimum program structure and geographical nuances and regulations impacting their risk decisions.  Package and present client risk exposures to insurer community to implement best coverage and program implementation.  Ability to complete a high volume of detailed work including certificates and policies accurately and efficiently. Must have strength in gathering, analyzing and tracking large scale data.  Communicate with international network on service of global programs. Maintain primary ownership of communication flow between network, State-side brokerage team and the client.  Review appropriate binding documentation and aid in the development of quote comparison. Supervise invoicing process, coordinate documentation delivery globally, and monitor payments to avoid policy cancellation.  Maintain, execute and resolve open items lists on a variety of projects for assigned clients. 

Role Requirements

Education and Qualifications: 

Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3.0 GPA  Preferred Majors: International Business or Finance preferred  Proficiencies in foreign language(s), a plus   Date of Graduation between May 2024 – May 2025  Intermediate to advance Excel skills  Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite   Assume ownership of professional development, continuously seeking opportunities to broaden technical insurance expertise.  Competency to build technical industry knowledge, establish an understanding of the international marketplace, and help the brokerage team evaluate clients’ international exposures.

Compensation and Benefits: 

Base salary range and benefits information for this position are included in accordance with the requirements of various state/local pay transparency legislation. Please note that base salaries may vary for different individuals in the same role based on several factors, including but not limited to location of the role, individual competencies, education/professional certifications, qualifications/experience, performance in the role and potential for revenue generation (Producer roles only).

Compensation: 

The base salary compensation range being offered for this role is $75,000 – 85,000 USD.  This role is also eligible for overtime.
