OUR MISSION:

GPI partners with University and College campuses to provide Co-op opportunities across the business.

These Co-ops take place during the academic year and can provide academic credit and/or an hourly

wage. Rules and regulations regarding Co-ops such as hours worked, and credit received are in accordance with the candidate’s academic institution.

Job Responsibilities

 

Corporate

Co-ops in our corporate office develop analytical, technical, and soft skills through increased responsibility and exposure by working on business critical projects. Opportunities available that support our corporate functions from engineering to business.

 

 

Paperboard Manufacturing Engineering

Co-ops in our paperboard manufacturing facilities will learn about the papermaking process and how we improve safety, quality, productivity and reduce cost through a variety of projects.

 

Packaging Engineering

Co-ops in our packaging facilities will have the opportunity to learn about our packaging converting process while supporting manufacturing, quality, safety and other important functions within our plants.

 

Background Experience

Prior experience in paid or unpaid positions related to manufacturing. Leadership roles in student or college-affiliated organizations Previous full-time experience in manufacturing is considered but not required.

Education Experience

Undergraduate degree (GPA of 2.8 or higher) in Business, Marketing, Sales, or a related field. Advanced degree is considered but not required
