The Technical College System of Georgia (TCSG) is seeking highly qualified applicants for their full-time E- Learning Developer position at Georgia QuickStart. This position is responsible for producing engaging, effective training products as part of Quick Start’s customized workforce training services provided to a wide range of business and industry in Georgia. This position is located at the TCSG Georgia QuickStart in Atlanta, at 75 Fifth Street NW, Atlanta, GA 30308.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS
· Articulate Storyline 360 and Adobe Captivate: Advanced expertise
· SCORM (“Sharable Content Object Reference Model”): Thorough understanding and ability to develop content for SCORM-compliant Learning Management Systems
· Microsoft PowerPoint: Quality presentation design skills, conforming to an established brand
· Adobe Creative Suite: Experience with design applications, integrated with e-Learning, particularly Photoshop and Illustrator
Video and Audio: Familiarity with Audacity and Premier Pro editing features
RESPONSIBILITIES
· Collaborate with instructional designers, subject-matter experts and other stakeholders to identify effective e-learning solutions to be used in workforce training environments.
· Communicate and collaborate effectively with a creative team to identify information and media components needed for authoring and programming
e-learning programs.
· Have thorough knowledge of principles for adult learning and be able to recommend and develop appropriate e-learning solutions.
· Be able to adapt to situations requiring tight deadlines and fast turnaround.
· Maintain knowledge of emerging trends in e-learning and demonstrate enthusiastic willingness to learn and adapt to new e-learning applications.
· Demonstrate capability to rapidly research and understand the technologies, work practices, materials and products involved in a wide range of technical fields.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Associates Degree in Instructional Design, Web Development, Graphic Design, Game Programming or a related field, and three (3) years of professional experience in e-learning content development. Portfolio of work products required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Ten (10) years working hands-on in instructional design and development of digital content. Credentials in Instructional Design/Technology, Education, Information Technology, Web design implementing coding such as HTML5, Javascript, etc.
