E&I Supervisor

For our client's renewable project on a refinery site in Sweden we are currently searching for an experienced E&I Supervisor. Foreseen duration of this project is until end of 2026.

As an E&I Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the electrical and instrumentation aspects of construction projects within a refinery. Your responsibilities will include:

Leadership and Management:

Leading and managing the on-site construction team, including electricians, instrument technicians, and other relevant personnel. Coordinating and overseeing all work related to electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. Collaborating with engineers, subcontractors, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project execution.

Project Coordination:

Attending production meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and solutions. Reviewing and becoming familiar with the project schedule and budget. Ensuring adherence to the established timeline and financial constraints.

Quality Assurance:

Ensuring that quality standards are met during installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical and instrumentation systems. Conducting regular inspections to verify compliance with safety regulations and industry standards.

Material Handling and Preservation:

Monitoring site material handling and preservation to facilitate construction progress and maintain the quality of materials. Reviewing the construction sequence, work plan, pre-task planning, and methods statements to ensure effective work execution and safety.

Safety and Compliance:

Promoting a safety-first culture among the team. Ensuring compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and company policies.

Problem-Solving and Troubleshooting:

Addressing any technical challenges related to electrical and instrumentation systems promptly. Collaborating with other superintendents and project managers to resolve issues efficiently.

Documentation and Reporting:

Maintaining accurate records of work progress, incidents, and safety observations. Providing regular updates to project management and stakeholders. Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (preferred). Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Construction Manager, PMP) are advantageous. Proven experience as an E&I Supervisor/Superintendent in refinery or industrial construction projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation, and control systems. Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
