Dynamics Developer

We are thrilled to offer a remote contract opportunity for an experienced Dynamics Developer to work with our Government client based in Winnipeg. This is a 6-month contract to start, with an expected total duration of 24 months.
As a Dynamics 365/Power Platform Developer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom applications and integrations using Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
Responsibilities:
Solution Design & Development: Create and implement custom applications and integrations with Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools.Customization & Configuration: Customize Dynamics 365 modules (Sales, Service, Marketing, etc.) and develop workflows with Power Apps and Power Automate.Integration: Connect Dynamics 365 with other enterprise systems (e.g., ERP, third-party apps) using APIs, web services, and connectors.Data Analysis & Reporting: Use Power BI to design dashboards, reports, and data visualizations that support data-driven decision-making.Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with business analysts, project managers, and team members to gather requirements, implement solutions, and meet project goals.Quality Assurance: Test, troubleshoot, and debug applications to ensure high-quality performance.Coding & Testing: Write and deploy code that meets GOM quality standards.Best Practices & Documentation: Maintain technical documentation and follow best practices for version control and deployment.Data Management: Manage data migration, integration, and quality assurance.Project Participation: Contribute to project planning, execution, and on-time delivery.Mentorship & Support: Mentor team members and provide technical support to maximize Dynamics 365’s effectiveness.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent experience).Experience: Minimum of 5 years working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform tools (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).Proven expertise in developing and customizing Dynamics 365 modules.Strong understanding of relational databases (e.g., SQL Server) and data modelling.Experience integrating Dynamics 365 with third-party applications via APIs, web services, and connectors.Hands-on experience with model-driven apps, canvas apps, and custom connectors in Power Apps.Proficiency in Dynamics 365 customization (plugins, workflows, forms, views, business rules).Advanced skills in Power Automate for process automation and Power BI for creating dashboards and visualizations.Familiarity with Azure DevOps for version control and CI/CD pipelines.Working knowledge of JavaScript, C#, and other web technologies.Strong problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and deliver quality results.Other Requirements: A clean criminal record is mandatory.This is an excellent opportunity to work on impactful government projects, expand your skills with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, and collaborate with a dynamic team—all while working remotely.
