Brief Job Overview: Our Agriculture and Real Estate client seeks a Dynamics AX/D365 Developer to lead in system development and enhancement to meet business needs. Responsibilities include conducting proof of concept analyses, integrating external systems, ensuring code quality, and driving technological innovation.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
* Develops new or modifies existing AX features using best practices adopted by the team.
* Leads proof of concept analyses for challenging software applications, determining solution approaches while considering technical constraints, risks, and implementation strategies.
* Creates architectural prototypes to ensure team can build stable, feasible, and realistic solutions.
* Integration's with outside applications using features available in AX.
* Perform regular reviews of other developer's code to ensure the design quality and avoid overly complicated structures.
* Makes recommendations to manager on new technology or process change.
* Possesses a good understanding of overall AX functionality in order to be more effective in development and testing.
* Defines requirements for features by working with team members as needed.
* Eight or more years of experience in X++ Language.
* Eight or more years of experience in Dynamics AX 2012 R3 functionalities.
* Four or more years of experience in Microsoft .NET framework and C# language.
* Power Platform development or EDI experience are pluses.
* Experience in Office and Warehouse environments.
* Experience within manufacturing or agriculture industry is a plus.
* Works under general supervision, developing and executing procedures within established guidelines, responsible for assigned tasks, and creates procedures to meet group objectives.
* Overnight Travel may be required.
