**DESCRIPTION** Ensure Equipment Reliability: Perform regular maintenance and inspections to keep manufacturing equipment running smoothly and prevent unexpected breakdowns. Optimize Performance: Analyze equipment performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Troubleshoot Issues: Quickly diagnose and resolve mechanical problems to minimize downtime and maintain production schedules. Implement Preventive Maintenance: Develop and execute preventive maintenance plans to extend the lifespan of machinery and reduce repair costs. Support Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and implement process improvements that enhance overall manufacturing performance. Maintain Safety Standards: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies to create a safe working environment. Manage Spare Parts Inventory: Oversee the inventory of spare parts and ensure critical components are available when needed to avoid production delays. Train and Mentor: Provide training and guidance to junior maintenance staff to build a skilled and knowledgeable team. Troubleshoots, assembles, installs, tests and maintains mechanical systems using all necessary tools to keep equipment available and capable. Learns and understands the protocols of working safely with electricity and other energy sources with industrial equipment. May work independently and instruct or coach others. **Key Responsibilities:** Health, Safety & Environmental (HSE) Stop work and immediately report any major injury hazards. Provide feedback into the Preventive Maintenance system. Follows all process documentation and quality procedures. Raises issues to minimize cost and quality exposures. Performs quality inspections. Delivery Fully proficient performing troubleshooting, mechanical repairs and maintenance of equipment . Instructs and coaches others and acts as an informal resource for team members with less experience. Perform and documents preventive, emergency, corrective and predictive maintenance activities. Maintains clean and orderly work area, including routine housekeeping and machine cleaning tasks. Performs other miscellaneous duties as required to meet production goals. This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations. **Experience:** Requires significant relevant work experience or specialized skills obtained through education, training or on-the-job experience. **QUALIFICATIONS** Coordinate troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repairs on complex equipment sometimes with vendors through remote or on-site support. Be proactive at developing critical spares list, identifying items for MRO crib, and understand vendor lead times including spare part obsolescence risk.
