Duty Manager

Crowne Plaza Canberra is looking for a full-time Duty Manager to join our team. As a Duty Manager, you will champion our “one team” approach to make sure we provide our guest with an outstanding hotel experience.
**A little taste of your day to day**
+ Hands on management of the Front Office, and supporting our teams in other departments
+ Supporting in promoting teamwork and quality service through daily communication and coordination with other departments
+ Maintaining high standards of quality and presentation throughout the property.
+ Leading the way – managing guest experiences, team performance and hotel operations
+ Prioritizing workload and ensuring our team deliver authentic, memorable experiences
+ Developing your team’s skills to drive results that positively impact on hotel performance
+ Having authentic conversations with guests to resolve issues, queries or concerns
+ Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations
+ Responsibility for safety and security of the hotel, our guests and colleagues in lieu of senior management
+ Ensuring all hotel service team members provide guests with prompt service, professional attention and personal recognition
+ Being first point of contact for any critical emergency situations
**What we need from you:**
+ 2 years’ hotel front desk or guest service leader experience
+ Experience working with Opera, Infosys and HUB OS is highly desirable
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, multiple projects and priortise workloads
+ Experience in leading a team
+ Excellent communication, problem solving, reasoning and motivational skills
+ Working knowledge of hotel property management systems
+ First aid and RSA certificate
+ Availability to work a rotating roster, including evenings, weekends and public holidays
