Qualifications

DTP Operator / Designer with extensive experience (approx. 4-5+ years).

Knowledge of printing techniques and the preparation process for printing.

Fluentness in using Adobe In-design, Illustrator, Photoshop, Mac OX and or any other multimedia software.Ability to use net transfer tool e.g. FTP.Organized in handling daily tasks, accurately, self-management.Experience in work at the printing/publishing house or other advertising agencies is highly desirable.Due to the nature of the business, be able to work overtime.Methodical working style.Concentration, accuracy, and great attention to detail.Ability to multitask.Tact and diplomacy for negotiating changes.Ability to work to tight deadlines.Self-motivated.RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENTCREATIVE JUDGEMENTHas a sense of artistic taste and proportion and uses this when preparing the material for printing.Ability to reflect as much as possible on a creative concept on the final material prepared for printing.Ability to enter into the spirit of the specific creative character of a project and reflect this when preparing  material for printing.

Passion for the work and a driver for high artistic standards.Takes an active interest in printing trends in communication and the graphic arts.TEAM PLAYEREasiness in switching between projects also into those that are run by other colleagues.Eagerness to find solutions to problems.Readiness to bring innovation into the projects.

You’ll also be required to advance the following:

Edit graphics, such as photographs or illustrations.Import text and graphics into publishing software.Integrate images and text to create cohesive pages.Adjust text properties, such as size, column width, and spacing.Revise layouts and make corrections as necessary.Submit or upload final files for printing or online publishing.Work part of a team on monthly catalogues.
