Drywall / Sheetrock Hanger

A local general contracting company in the Flathead Valley, dedicated to building the Montana dream, is seeking a Drywall/Sheetrock Hanger. The Sheetrock Hanger is responsible for the installation of drywall in various construction and renovation projects. This includes measuring, cutting, and fastening sheetrock to ensure smooth surfaces for painting and finishing. The ideal candidate should have strong technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment.

Pay: $22 to $28/hour, depending on experience
Schedule: Full-time, Monday through Friday

Essential Functions and Duties: Measure spaces accurately to cut drywall sheets to the required size and shape Secure drywall sheets to walls, ceilings, or other frameworks Operate tools and equipment such as drills, saws, and lifts as required for installation Collaborate with tapers to ensure all joints, seams, and corners are properly aligned and ready for finishing Identify and address any issues related to uneven surfaces or incorrect measurements during installation
Qualifications:  2-5 years of drywall experience Ability to lift 100 lbs Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening
