By working at Yellowstone National Park, you will get all three! As a driver, you will play a vital role in supporting the day-to-day administrative functions that keep the park running smoothly. Job Summary: There are several driving opportunities available in different departments; some require DOT physicals, and all need is a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. The Details: Position Type: Seasonal Season Dates: April 2025 - November 2025 Pay: $17.00 - 20.50/hr Schedule: Typical schedule is 40 hours, 5 days per week (may include weekends, evenings, and holidays) Why Yellowstone National Park? Responsibilities Responsibilities: Linen Truck Driver Responsible for distributing and collecting linens and supplies on location for the Housekeeping Department Responsible for accurate linen inventories and maintaining clean and functional linen rooms Most driving takes place on location, but occasional travel on mountainous roads is necessary All applicants must have a valid driver’s license, and have a good driving record Retail Distribution Center Driver Responsible for all duties of Distribution Center Help position Loading and unloading box truck(s) in conjunction with deliveries between the distribution center and retail stores Maintain control and security of documents, box counts, and all goods associated with deliveries and returns to and from retail stores Make deliveries and returns of retail goods between the Distribution Center and each store's secured location or stockroom Coordinate truck maintenance with Gardiner Service Center and complete required vehicle inspection reports Practice safe work habits in an industrial type of work environment by complying with all safety requirements. Notify a supervisor immediately if an unsafe work condition or practice is observed. Successfully complete all required safety training Qualifications Qualifications: Must be at least 19 or 21 years of age (depending on position) to operate a company vehicle Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Must possess or obtain a current DOT physical qualification General knowledge of the park and the locations of concession buildings Ability to drive in changing weather conditions on narrow mountain roads Physical Requirements include: Frequent standing, walking, and sitting, reaching outward and above the shoulder for up to 6 hours per shift. Ability to pass a road test Repetitive motion of arms, wrist, and hands for up to 7 hours per shift. Requires occasional climbing, crawling, and squatting/kneeling up to 3 hours per shift. Must be able to lift items weighing up to 75 pounds frequently. Ability to push or pull bins weighing between 50-200 pounds on an everyday basis. Must be able to wear hearing protection up to 4 hours per shift. Must be able to drive for up to 3 hours at a time. Must be able to drive a 167 mile daily route. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
