**Job Summary:**
The Driver Technician will be responsible for safe operation of a DOT regulated vehicle, transporting materials/equipment from point A to point B. This role also executes field service activities at customer sites in a safe and efficient manner, including system troubleshooting, working with mechanical, electrical, diesel conditions (based on the requirements of the assigned role/customer), and can identify and remedy safety issues (both Company and Customer owned equipment). Has direct interfacing with customer and potentially operates at multiple sites / with multiple technologies. Critical thinking in this role is a critical item.

**Education & Experience Requirements:**
+ HS diploma or equivalent
+ **Must have CDL class A**
+ Hazmat endorsement preferred but not required
+ Able to pass background check & pre-employment drug screen
+ Ability to obtain DOT Medical card
+ 0 to 2 years of technical work experience, 1 year preferred
+ Ability to drive overnight
+ Ability to drive difficult routes
+ Ability to understand weight requirements / weight distribution
**Skill Requirements:**
+ Electrical, mechanical experience depending on business unit
+ Work without direct supervision
+ Technically sound
+ Must have customer service experience
+ Demonstrates critical thinking and troubleshooting ability
+ Synthesizes technical information and communicates it clearly
+ Derives insight from customer experience to produce outcomes and solve problems often in novel and unexpected ways

Salary range:
$44,100.00 - $70,600.00
