Entry Level CDL A Truck Driver

Start your Core-Mark career as an Entry Level Class A CDL Truck Driver. Not only will Core-Mark pay for tuition at a verified local CDL training program, but you can also earn wages while completing school. All training costs and expenses associated will be covered by Core-Mark. You are a full-time Core-Mark employee starting day 1! 

Further career opportunities and development will be offered after completion of the Entry Level Driver program.

Compensation: $16-$20/hour. Paid throughout the entirety of the training program.

Position Responsibilities:

Supporting deliveries and off-loading products to customer locations.Loading and unloading truck and/or company vehicles by hand or by use of a hand truck or dolly.Placing products in areas identified by customers.Recording delivery information on daily delivery invoice/load list and completing documentation.Securing items in position on trucks to prevent damage during shipment.Collecting empty containers or merchandise when approved by Customer Service.Obtaining customer signature on receipt for pickup and delivery.Using on-board computer system and/or logbook to comply with DOT hours requirementsCleaning inside of the vehicle.Performing other tasks and duties as assigned.

Training Details:

FMCSA approved driving school, which includes classroom and behind-the-wheel education. While in driving school, you’ll be employed in a Driver Helper role where you’ll gain real-world experience delivering products to our customers.We will accommodate your driving school schedule

You’ll be primed for success with these qualifications:

Are at least 18 years oldHave a clean driving recordAre able to push 50lbs and lift 75lbsAre able to move a dolly up and down a ramp loaded with up to 260lbsFlexibility to work extended hours as needed.
