Primary Responsibilities

The Warehouse Driver Check-In unloads, loads, verifies and keeps records on incoming customer returns and prepares and put-away items, processes damages and cycle counting.

 

Essential Functions Compares identifying information and counts items of incoming returns, including empty pallets, totes, straps, etc.Operates material handling equipment to move, convey or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving to storage or work areaExecutes receiving and stocking of back-haul PO’s.Loads or unloads materials on or off of pallets, skids or lifting deviceUnpacks, examines and segregates incoming returns based on product conditionAffixes License Plate Numbers (ULLs) on packed cartons or full palletsPrepares returned products and executes “put-away” processRoutes paperwork to necessary channels Minimum Requirements, Qualifications, Additional Skills, Aptitude High School Diploma or GED required.Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications / Additional Skills / Aptitude:

A minimum of one (1) year of previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse atmosphere preferred.Previous experience operating powered warehouse industrial equipment (i.e., forklift, pallet jacks, stock pickers, RF Scanner etc.) preferred.Must have the ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.Must have the ability to follow safe warehouse working practices, as instructedMust have the ability to efficiently work independent of direct supervision within the warehouse.

The associate is required to sit. The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb. While performing the duties of this position, the associate is subject to a warehouse environment where temperatures can vary from very cool to very warm. The associate is also exposed to outside weather conditions. The noise levels in the work environment are typically low to moderate.
