Wage Range $31-$35/hr DOE + $1.50 night shift differential.

• Make deliveries from facility to customers as far as Northern Washington, Eastern Washington, and Central Washington.
• Deliver material in good condition.
• Verify load is stable prior to transport.
• Complete daily vehicle inspections.
• Complete necessary shipping paperwork.
• Complete material handling moves via a forklift.
• Complete internal moves via a forklift.
· Read shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed. Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas. Sort and place materials on racks or shelves according to predetermined sequence. Fill orders for materials, tools, or other stock items and distribute inbound materials. Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves or convey orders to packing station or shipping department. Mark materials with identifying information. Check materials and paperwork and record amounts received or distributed. Weigh or count items for distribution to ensure conformance to company standards. Compile worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
· Load and unload inbound and outbound freight. Open bales, crates, and other containers. Drive vehicle to transport stored items from warehouse to plant or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
· Sweep up warehouse and dock areas, organize work areas, and keep supplies stocked.
· Follow all applicable instructions relative to food safety and the SQF Food Safety Management System, including Employee GMP’s.
· Perform other assignments as requested by ProAmpac Management and Supervisors.
· Train potential Material Handler/Warehouse Associates and/or Driver/Warehouse Associates.
· Report food safety problems to personnel with the authority to initiate actions.
· Consolidate and wrap recyclables for transport and storage.
· Perform special projects as assigned to assist in the success of ProAmpac- Auburn Plant objectives, for example train other department personnel when they bring finished goods, raw material returns, work-in-process, recyclables, and garbage back to warehouse. Deliver packages.
· Work effectively with Slitting, Press, Converting, Customer Service, and other members of the Shipping Department in a team environment to develop multi-functional solutions for customers.
· Adhere to safety policy and procedures and all ProAmpac- Hartford Plant policies and procedures, as included in the employee handbook to ensure safety for self and fellow employees and to ensure behavior is appropriate in the workplace.
· Maintain work area per food safety requirements.
· Assist Warehouse Associates.
**Qualifications, Education and Experience**
· Must be able to read and write in English.
· Must be able to hold a conversation with a DOT Officer.
· Must hold a valid Class A CDL.
· High school diploma or GED equivalent.

**Work Environment**
Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection required. Hands-free communication device must be used in vehicle while driving.
This role operates in a professional manufacturing environment. Employee is exposed to non-nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area during extremely hot summer months.
