MAIN FUNCTIONS OF THE JOB

Coordination of infrastructure drawings and specifications with architectural contract documents for telecommunication facilities, infrastructure design and construction. Ensure detailed design drawings and specifications are developed using Autodesk tools. Prepare straightforward 3D models and 2D detailed drawings of floor plans and data centres. Ensure consultation with colleagues/clients to design, layout or detail components and systems to resolve design or other problems Ensure that drawings are checked, approved and filed in accordance with company quality system. Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given structures, components and devices. Revise drawings and layouts to accommodate changes and enhancements. Ensure quality and safety standards are adhered to and integrated into design and procedures, design specifications and ISO standards are adhered to. Requirements

     QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

·       Matric qualification

·       3+ years relevant working experience

·       Certified multi-disciplinary qualification

·       Draughting or similar and recognised training in AutoCAD and Rivet (mandatory)

·       Microsoft Office skills

·       Advanced proficiency in Autodesk  - Minimum of 3 years working experience

·       Advanced knowledge of Parametric design principle

·       Advanced knowledge of 2D and 3D packages

·       Understand electrical components SLD’s (advantageous)

·       Understand mechanical components for SLD’s (advantageous)

·       Understand architectural components for SLD’s (advantageous)
