Our client, a multidisciplinary firm, is seeking a Drafting Technician with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of BIM software modelling. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to apply their skills in a dynamic and challenging environment.

Graduation from high school and six months of specialized training in drafting, or one year of actual experience in the field under consideration; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Minimum 1 - 3 years of experience in drafting. Knowledge of BIM platform e.g. Revit MEP but with collaboration knowledge of other disciplines is preferable. Proficiency in AutoCAD for drawing linkage and clean-up, as well as legacy work. Familiarity with Autodesk 360 and Design Review. Experience with Navisworks Manager for coordination, collaboration and clash-detection is desirable. General understanding of interoperability between not only Autodesk based solutions, but software from other developers used in the industry e.g. AutoCAD etc. Diploma in Revit. Please Note: This role is for someone who can draw and is not a design draughtsman.
