This role is essential in developing precise and complex drawings using **Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD)** software, ensuring accuracy in technical designs that power the aerospace industry. **What You’ll Do:** + Prepare and edit intricate drawing packages, including multiple views, wiring diagrams, and assembly drawings. + Interpret and apply mathematical formulas to calculate weights, load capacities, and material quantities. + Work from engineer or designer sketches to determine the best views and details needed. + Independently select relevant information from technical guides and manufacturer catalogs. + Resolve most drafting challenges with minimal supervision, seeking guidance for complex issues. + Create drawings and schematics for electrical and mechanical systems using appropriate CAD techniques. + Maintain precision in documentation, ensuring compliance with drafting standards. + Estimate drafting time and cost requirements, assisting in project management. **What You Bring:** **Required Skills & Experience:** + Proficiency in **SolidWorks, DraftSight, and PDM** software. + High school diploma or **two years of technical training** with **five years of related experience** . + **This position requires use of information or access to facilities subject to the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
