At Carrier we are currently looking for Drafter to participate in the Carrier activities & make contributions, applying their skills / knowledge. **Role Responsibilities:** + General design & drafting responsibilities based on layouts /sketches & drawings with CAD applications. + Ensuring all engineering changes workflows are followed. + Participating in Carrier Excellence activities, incl. standard work, Kaizen & Value Stream Mapping. + Work with guidance on projects with short-term focus. **Role Purpose:** + Creation of designs & documentation for Transport Refrigeration Products. **Minimum Requirements:** + Refrigeration, mechanical or electrical background, incl. hands-on experience working in an engineering design environment. + Ability to develop continuous improvement projects. + Capacity to communicate professionally in written and verbal form across a wide audience. + Ability to drive change. + General knowledge of Bills of Materials and structure + Highly organized with strong attention to detail, while managing multiple priorities. + Skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams). + Follow-up and follow-through skills. + Knowledge of PTC’s Creo and Windchill applications + Experienced in Creo schematics and harness routing, harness drawing creation using harness smart tables. Ability to import hml flies into Creo schematic. + Experienced with Creo tubing modeling pkg and drawing creation. **Preferred Qualifications:** + Entry level Programming experience + Working level Electrical experience + English and or french language for communication with engineers in other European sites **Minimum Requirements:** + Technical/Business School Certificate, high school diploma, skilled trades apprenticeship, or GED + 1+ year(s) of HVAC experience **Carrier is An Equal** **Opportunity/Affirmative** **Action Employer.
