Description

Looking to add a drafter to their small team. They want to bring in a new drafter to get up to speed before they lose a drafter to retirement.

This person will spend 90% of the day at a CAD station developing detail part and assembly drawings for mechanical equipment. The majority of the work is parts and assemblies vs whole systems.

-interpret existing prints, locate and modify existing drawings, and release for production

-provide engineering support for the sales team

-create installation drawings

-specify and locate individual components

-occasional travel to customer sites to take measurements (once going perm)

-Some filing and data entry of engineering documentation will be required

Additional Skills & Qualifications

MUST HAVE

-2 years experience with AutoCAD

-Experience creating part drawings, assembly drawings, fabrication drawings and assembly drawings.

-must be able to use a tape measure accurately to check part dimensions

- must be detail oriented and willing to pitch in anywhere

NICE TO HAVE

-1-2 years experience with Inventor

-Associates degree in drafting or equivalent

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $30.00
