Position Overview
At Aecon, people are at the heart of everything we do. Aecon is focused on identifying, attracting, and hiring talented Dozer Operator for the 2025 Construction Season in Calgary, Alberta. We are looking to add the below talent to our Road/Base crew.
What You’ll Do Here:
Operate bulldozers to perform tasks such as grading, paving, and moving earth materials. Conduct routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance. Collaborate with other operators and crew members to complete projects on time. Utilize additional heavy equipment as needed, including backhoes, graders, and loaders. Follow safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe work environment. Assist in horizontal drilling operations when required. Report any mechanical issues or safety concerns to the supervisor immediately.
What You Bring to the Team:
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, specifically with bulldozers. Familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is preferred. Experience in commercial driving is a plus. Knowledge of mechanical systems related to heavy equipment operation. Previous experience in backhoe operation, grader operation, or loader operation is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work long hours in various weather conditions while maintaining focus on safety.
