Position Summary:
The Documentation Specialist will be responsible for the functions of In-bound product receiving, product quality inspection, part packaging & labeling, documentation verification, and various transaction processing. The position requires a high level of accuracy, excellent interpersonal skills, and dependability. The individual in this position must be a team player, mature, with the ability to function well in a challenging and fast paced environment.
Essential Functions:
• Verify DHR documentation for completeness and accuracy
• Perform process review functions to verify part, quantity, and documentation are accurate
• Perform data entry functions to record material process completion
• Process vendor non-conforming material (NCMR), request RMAs, return product to supplier in protected shipping cartons
• Label and package product using various labeling/packaging equipment
• Follow all standard operating procedures for the Receiving Department
• Perform quality inspections as trained
• Participate in continuous improvement activities and implement changes for improvement.
• Keep supervisor informed of work-related activities and issues towards agreed upon goals and objectives.
• Maintain cooperative and friendly attitude with coworkers.
• Adheres to the letter and spirit of the company Code of Conduct, the AdvaMed Code, MedTech Code, and all other company policies
• Ensures Compliance with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations, both in the United States and internationally, by completing introductory and annual training and maintaining knowledge of compliance as it applies to your role
• Represents the company in a professional manner and upholds the highest standards of ethical business practices and socially responsible conduct in all interactions with other employees, customers, suppliers, and other third parties

Qualifications:
• High school diploma or higher with minimum of 2 years progressive work experience, preferably in the medical device industry or other regulated industry.
• Ability to review documentation for accuracy, perform data entry, scan and file documents.
• Must be knowledgeable with Microsoft Word and Excel programs.
• Experience utilizing planning software
• Experience with training, developing and reviewing of planning software processes and procedures from a functional perspective
• Good organizational, typing, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
• Good communication and writing skills.
