Our client, _a global leader in the manufacturing industry_ , is seeking a **Document Specialist** to join their team. As a Document Specialist, you will be part of the production support team, contributing to the development of clear and concise operating procedures. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** Document Specialist
**Location:** Cordova, IL
**Pay Range:** $30/HR + Benefits
**Contract Duration:** 12-Month
**Schedule:** Fully Onsite, Mon-Fri, 8-HR Work Day with flexible start of day between 5:30-8am.
**Job Function:**
+ Transcribe Factory Operating Procedures into electronic operating procedures using the 3M MES Workflow interface.
+ Convert existing procedures from Word documents into a user-friendly Workflow task list.
+ Collaborate with production teams to ensure accuracy and clarity of the procedures.
+ Participate in a kick-off call and follow up with stakeholders to gather necessary information.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and wear provided personal protective equipment while on-site.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Proven experience in technical writing or a related field.
+ Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
+ Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively.
+ Familiarity with workflow software is a plus, but not required.
+ Willingness to work on-site and adhere to safety regulations.
