Description We are currently in the market for a Document Controller to join our team in the Mortgage Industry, located in PITTSBURGH, Pennsylvania. This role offers a long-term contract employment opportunity where you will be tasked with maintaining accurate records, prioritizing work based on daily rejections, and effectively communicating with clients and borrowers. Your responsibilities will extend to reviewing closing packages for accuracy and adhering to the established company guidelines for quality and service. Responsibilities: • Familiarize oneself with state and county requirements to ensure compliance. • Prioritize workload based on daily rejections and resolve them promptly. • Maintain open communication with team members, team lead, and managers. • Ensure accurate records and logs are maintained at all times. • Review and validate closing packages, title clearance, lender closing instructions, and incoming closing packages for accuracy. • Engage in the research and resolution of discrepancies. • Communicate effectively with outside agencies, clients, and borrowers. • Understand and adhere to the requirements of clients, vendors, and borrowers. • Ensure duties and responsibilities are performed in a timely manner, adhering to the established company guidelines for quality and service. • Professionally and promptly address inquiries from clients, borrowers, agents, and internal staff.
