POSITION SUMMARY:
The Document Control Technician will primarily be responsible for document control within the Precision Fluidics organization. This role will also serve as Engineering support for various processes.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Manage documentation requests by initiating, creating, editing, and finalizing Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Documentation Change Orders (DCOs)
+ Manage Autodesk Vault components and assemblies
+ Print controlled copies of documentation
+ Support audits as necessary
+ Create, edit, and review technical documentation such as specification sheets, technical reports, test protocols, etc.
+ Manage customer notification process
+ Manage component introduction process from Engineering
QUALIFICATIONS:
+ High School Diploma/GED with 7+ years of document control experience
or
+ Associate's degree with 2+ years of document control experience
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
+ Project management skills (no certifications required)
+ Experience with document control systems
+ Basic knowledge of CAD or CAD management (ePDM) (Autodesk/Inventor preferred)
+ Desired but not required: CAD experience creating and managing complex assemblies
+ Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate with different areas of the business
+ Strong Microsoft Word and Excel skills
