Opportunity Snapshot:

 

Compensation: $25-30/hourLocation: Tulsa, OKAssignment Duration: 12 months+Work Schedule: M-F / 40 hours+Benefits: Comprehensive insurance and 401(k) Responsibilities Assist in the development of process documentation, supervising data processing and programming, as well as delivering training to process owners on the correct document structure and control tool usageAssist with updating, publishing, and maintaining RFI procedures and tracking logsAssist Project Managers with developing and maintaining documents such as meeting minutes, drawings, specifications, approvals and related itemsOversee the receipt of controlled files, issued for construction drawings, pressure vessel certifications, Primavera versions, equipment drawings, inspection files, and/or emails, and assess the accuracy of the documents. Once files are checked for completeness, record them into the system according to a file log and indexCoordinate with vendors to track and issue documents, checking that the documents comply with standards and policy and work with vendors to revise documentation as neededScan documents or images, and organize them to facilitate long term storage and search functionality, maintains them, while adhering to document lifecycle procedures. Any inactive documents and records are tracked and then archivedReceive “Requests for Information,” or RFIs, from vendors and employees, and maintain these requests using tracking logs, which are updated as document control specialists create new templates accordingly. Qualifications 1+ years with document management is required

Experience using a scanner to digitize documents

Self-directed, able to work independently, and highly-motivated

Must be computer-savvy and well-versed in Microsoft Office products, Excel in particular

Some knowledge and experience with AutoCAD is preferred.  Any experience with Visual Basic is a plus

Able to work in a fast-paced and deadline driven environment, so it's important candidate can stay focused and carry out their tasks in a timely and accurate manner

Must be detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy due to working with complex and sensitive documents.  Punctuality and a good attendace record is required

Should have the ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask and troubleshoot

Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills are also essential because they must regularly communicate with internal and external business partners

A minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent. Preferred Education is an associates or bachelor's degree

Client Overview:

 

Our Client is a Fortune 500 company and an independent petroleum refiner that focuses primarily on producing high-value light products such as gasoline, diesel fuel, jet fuel, specialty lubricant products and specialty and modified asphalt.  They own and operate several refineries located primarily in Southwestern United States and market their products to this area, as well as the Rocky Mountains, extending into the Pacific Northwest and other neighboring Plains states.
